In the area of digital forensics, the term “cloud forensics” has gained significant traction recently. This paper discusses the majority of the international standards bodies and their attempts to deal with both the current trend of cloud forensics in light of the growing influence of digital forensics on the standardization process and its requirement. It has been explained how to analyze the aforementioned categories in order to determine which regions require additional research. Cloud-based services have transformed the way many businesses operate. Businesses that embrace cloud migration can host their applications and software on low-cost server farms, and save them money and time by eliminating the need to manage hardware. These services also enable companies and individuals to safely store large amounts of data. However, before implementing these tactics into daily operations, businesses should consider problems such as cloud forensics. Cloud forensics has been made available. Cloud forensics was created to protect the security and integrity of data stored in the cloud and help forensic investigators find potential evidence against cloud criminals. This paper focuses on the methodological aspects of cloud forensics. It examines the advancements achieved to enable digital forensic procedures especially for investigating security incidents involving cloud computing and critically assesses the current issues and solutions for aiding investigations into such occurrences.
