Current research emphasizes the need for examining safety through a sociotechnical lens, particularly in high-risk organizations, where safety emerges from the complex interplay of social and technical factors. This chapter pretends to stress out the significance of human behaviour and organizational practices specifically in the context of hydrogen fuelling stations (HRSs). By recognizing the vital contributions of these factors, we can better understand how to enhance safety measures and foster a culture of safety in this emerging industry.
