The Ming and Qing Dynasties represent the final stages of China’s feudal dynasties, spanning from the fourteenth to the twentieth centuries. Throughout this long period of nearly six centuries, all aspects of traditional Chinese civilization developed to their most mature stages and began to incubate and exhibit specific early modern characteristics. The continuity of traditional Chinese civilization was fully demonstrated during this time, laying a solid foundation for the formation of modern Chinese civilization.
