Cuban entities that present jobs with cognitive demands do not have a management approach in the treatment of mental workload that integrates techniques, procedures and methodologies for its timely identification, evaluation, diagnosis and control, which constitutes the scientific problem to be solved in this research. Consequently, it is proposed as an objective to develop a technology for the management of mental workload in jobs with cognitive demands. The need for the integration of models and techniques as a criterion for the adequate assessment of mental workload in jobs with cognitive demands was demonstrated from the study of the state of the practice that reflected the limitation of the management approach in these studies. The main results focus on the creation of a technology for the management of mental workload through a deployment procedure that includes the assessment of biomolecular, physiological, psychophysiological and psychological indicators as an evaluation tool, the use of the Knowledge Work Intensity method as a diagnostic tool, the approach of control measures from the analysis of cognitive capacity and demand, as well as the analysis of paired samples from significant difference tests and correlation of the collected data with the use of Euclidean distance. The technology introduces an assessment of the effectiveness of management actions, statistically supported to verify the reduction of mental workload in the intervened workplaces.

摘要
