From Exclusivity to Inclusivity: Connecting Cultures and Promoting Diversity Among Globalized Undergraduates Via Cross-Cultural Sensitivity
摘要
Cross-cultural sensitivity fosters inclusive and respectful interactions, enhances communication, and cultivates an academic environment where globalized undergraduates feel recognized and supported. As the world grows more interconnected, promoting cultural understanding becomes essential in higher education. Embracing diversity and connecting cultures enrich the academic and social experiences of both students and institutions. This research explores, first, the cultural challenges encountered by globalized students throughout their academic path. Second, it highlights strategies aimed at transforming exclusivity into inclusivity by encouraging respect for cultural differences and fostering a shared sense of belonging. Third, the paper examines how Sultan Moulay Slimane University is advancing toward an inclusive model by offering global exchange opportunities. Students have broadened their perspectives through programs like Erasmus+, Fulbright, Rosetta Stone, and participation in intercultural events that strengthen their academic and social development.
