AIA Safety Assessment and Detection
摘要
While offering great benefits to mankind, artificially intelligent actants (AIAs) may inevitably come with potential “catastrophic” risks. The AIA discussed in this chapter refers specifically to artificial intelligence systems (AISs), which potentially threaten humankind through three abilities: the ability to move and use kinetic energy to harm humans in operation; the inexplicable ability to make decisions; and the potential ability to set targets independently. How can we ensure that this AIA will not harm humans when put on the mass market? Relevant measures are required to manage and control the use of AIA-related systems, so as to develop technologies within the safety framework and to prevent safety incidents.
