This book aims to bridge the gap between the introductory courses of real analysis and general topology. In this chapter on prerequisites, we intend to provide a comprehensive outline of the fundamental concepts and principles covered in the first course of real analysis without halting much for their proofs. The chapter is divided into two sections: The first focuses on the basics of set theory, and the second encompasses important results from single-variable Calculus. Additionally, various exercises are included to house more facts from the respective domains.
