Blockchain and IPFS-Enabled System for Efficient Vaccination Record Management
摘要
Vaccination records are pivotal to effective public health management, yet traditional systems remain vulnerable to challenges such as data loss, tampering, and inaccessibility during critical moments. This paper introduces a decentralized framework that uses blockchain technology and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to create secure, highly accessible, and tamperproof vaccination records. By addressing the unique challenges faced by rural populations, the proposed system ensures equitable access to reliable medical data. The architecture integrates smart contracts for automated access control, IPFS for decentralized data storage, and a web-based interface for ease of use. This solution improves the transparency and security of vaccination management, with potential applications extending to broader medical record systems.
