Conventional steganography techniques, which embed data into cover media, are susceptible to hacking, have limited capacity, and are easily altered. This work presents a revolutionary coverless image steganography technique that uses hash sequences and image features for secure data transmission, thereby overcoming these limitations. This approach enhances robustness against distortion and noise by eliminating direct data embedding. In this method, RGB images are converted to grayscale, resized, and divided into 8-bit planes. ORB is employed to extract keypoints from the top four MSB planes, and these keypoints are compared to generate hash sequences. These hash sequences are compiled into a database of numerous images. The images are transmitted sequentially, along with encrypted auxiliary data that include the image and plane numbers. By addressing the limitations of conventional steganography, this method provides a robust and secure foundation for secret data transfer.

摘要
