Philosophical Background of Medical Ethics
摘要
Ethics is an intrinsic and inextricable element of clinical medicine. As physicians, we shoulder an ethical obligation to (i) foster the patient’s well-being, (ii) mitigate or avert harm, and (iii) respect the patient’s values and preferences. We must consistently persevere to perform to the utmost of our abilities for our patients, regardless of the circumstances or repercussions.
