摘要

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming supply chain management by spearheading innovation and efficiency in numerous processes. This essay presents an in-depth examination of the role of generative AI in influencing major supply chain activities, such as risk management, inventory optimization, procurement, and logistics. The predictive power of generative AI allows organizations to anticipate demand, rationalize inventory levels, and streamline procurement functions, revolutionizing conventional practices. Moreover, its capability to facilitate quick, data-driven decision-making increases the resilience of supply chains, enabling organizations to respond in advance to market shifts and disruptions. In spite of its promise, integrating generative AI into supply chains is challenging in terms of complicated data integration, ethics, and specialized skill sets. These challenges and high lights are addressed by this study and demonstrate how generative AI will drive future evolution in supply chain management.
