This chapter examines the resilience, spirituality, and environmental awareness of the Marma indigenous communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh, amidst socio-environmental challenges and disasters. It explores the interplay between their spiritual ethos, traditional ecological knowledge, and adaptive strategies that emphasize harmony with nature and community solidarity. Key findings highlight the importance of land-based perspectives, sustainable practices, and cultural preservation in fostering resilience. The chapter underscores the role of government, institutions, and inclusive policies in addressing displacement, corruption, and resource mismanagement. By integrating indigenous knowledge into disaster risk reduction and environmental management, this study offers insights into building equitable and sustainable futures in vulnerable regions.
