Theoretical and Methodological Innovative Futures for Physics in Postsecondary Contexts
摘要
The aim of the chapter is to highlight promising theoretical and methodological innovations that work to understand and address inequities in post-secondary physics contexts. In particular, we move beyond a focus on the individual and identity as the main lens. Instead, our focus on relationships pulls a range of new research sites into consideration as vital sites of postsecondary physics education, where new, existing, and non-members of the field learn to navigate the profession. We show how relations between people, communities, and institutions can unsettle what is focused on in physics education research (PER).
