In present study, a Juice Clarification System is considered, and its reliability and signature evaluation are done with the help of reliability block diagram approach. Juice Clarification (JC) System is a very complex system having eight subsystems, viz raw juice tank, raw juice pumps, etc. The reliability block diagram technique along with simple probabilistic arguments is employed to evaluate the reliability of the Juice Clarification Unit. Owen’s and Boland methods are used to estimate the performance characteristics signature, tail signature, minimal signature, Barlow–Proschan Indicator, expected lifetime, anticipated expense, and expected value for JC system.
