A condition of an irregular beat is known as an “arrhythmia.” Arrhythmia is an important world health concern that may be fatal in certain cases. To be able to diagnose early and treat major arrhythmia, accurate and fast classification of arrhythmia heartbeats is key to the success. ECG is a test that examines the electrical impulses of the heart and is employed in cases where a patient’s heart is under diagnosis. Some heart ailments can be diagnosed with the help of an electrical signal of each beat, which is the series of action impulse waves generated by specific specialized cardiac structures located in the heart. The general objective of this review paper is to identify the gaps by providing the current state of knowledge on the topic of Arrhythmia and other possible directions of research in this field.
