This chapter focuses on the opportunities and challenges involved with the advancement of green biorefineries and, for sure, addresses the hurdles in achieving efficient sustainable implementation. Though green biorefineries have vast advantages regarding waste management, resource recovery, and the generation of renewable energy, the challenges involved are not fewer.
