Enhancing Management Education Globally: International Benchmarking Through Accreditations and Rankings

The significance and impact of international benchmarking through accreditations and Rankings in management education are the focus of this paper. The aim of this research is to investigate the many aspects of international benchmarking through accreditations and rankings in management education, such as their purpose, benefits, obstacles, and best practices. The data used in the research is secondary data collected from various accreditations and rankings agencies websites, news articles, and scholarly published articles. The study strategy incorporated the authors’ individual experiences and insights. The findings highlight the benefits of international benchmarking through accreditations and rankings, such as improved programme quality, higher graduate employability, and improved international recognition. However, concerns like as cultural diversity, disparities in educational systems, and the need for ongoing progress are also addressed. This research adds to the corpus of knowledge by delving into the significance and implications of worldwide benchmarking and accreditation in management education. The chapter provides guidance to educational institutions, policymakers, and accreditation bodies on making informed decisions, enhancing programme quality, increasing graduate employability, gaining international recognition, revising accreditation criteria, promoting research collaborations, embracing diversity, and improving management education globally.
