This chapter addresses the need for a blue future and the urgency of remedying the problem of microplastics in our oceans. In addition, it presents an optimistic and proactive vision to address this challenge, highlighting the importance of collective collaboration and technological innovation in the search for solutions. Different strategies and actions being taken worldwide at different scales, for example: at industrial, governmental, and non-governmental organizations level, for the remediation and prevention of microplastic pollution in the sea are discussed. Ultimately, a call to action is issued, urging individuals, communities, and governments to unite in the fight for a cleaner and more sustainable future for our oceans, since this is not an option, it is a necessity that requires concrete actions both locally and internationally in which all the actors involved participate.
