摘要
Lipedema is a pathologically progressive condition delineated by symmetrical adipose tissue buildup in the lower limbs, precipitating pain, ecchymosis, and mobility challenges. Notwithstanding its profound impact on individuals’ daily lives, it is often overlooked, leading to diagnostic and therapeutic delays. This text elucidates its epidemiology and demographic patterns, which are instrumental for clinicians, researchers, and those afflicted.
