Enhancing the programming learning efficiency and AI literacy is of great importance in the current digital era, especially for researchers and students. This study aims to build up a knowledge engineering system to assist engineering teaching. At the current stage, the system is used in the real engineering teaching scenario in the two teaching styles universities, and the experiments show that it can improve learning efficiency to some degree. According to the collected data from the experiment, the system can perform well in recommending the subject knowledge to researchers and students, for it can recommend suitable learning methods to them. In addition, it can strengthen learners’ weak points in the subject knowledge and raise their learning interests. The paper aims to seek a new hybrid engineering pedagogy by using the system to recommend specific learning approaches to the researchers and students and try to seek the potential methods to alter and promote the system to let it suit the future learning trend.
