Generative AI holds significant potential for fostering sustainable education, research and operation in Higher Education, universities can develop informed strategies to harness the benefits of generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI), thereby contributing to sustainable university. The purpose of this research consists of two phases: Phase 1 synthesize component generative artificial intelligence adoption in sustainable university; Step 1 synthesize component generative artificial intelligence; Step 2 synthesize of artificial intelligence adoption, and Step 3 synthesize of sustainable university. Phase 2 developments the conceptual framework for determining generative artificial intelligent adoption in sustainable university. The results revealed that the generative AI framework for sustainable university consists of five components: (1) strategy, (2) Infrastructure, (3) operation, (4) culture, and (5) use case. The determining generative artificial intelligent adoption in sustainable university consists of eight components: (1) digital transformation, (2) generative ai, (3) ai adoption, (4) sustainable development goals: SDGs, (5) sustainable university, (6) structural equation model, (7) enterprise architecture framework and (8) sustainable digital university framework. It can be highlight the necessity for universities to guideline use of generative ai.
