The global health of humanity is threatened by emerging viral diseases in a number of ways, which warns medical professionals and emphasizes the urgent need to create new technologies that can enhance the current approaches to viral disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment. This chapter explores how medical virology can be transformed by blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on how these technologies can ensure precise clinical decision-making. Blockchain is characterized by features such as immutability, decentralization, and safe infrastructure, which can allow secure sharing of healthcare data and also simultaneously ensure privacy of patient data. Generally, blockchain is combined with AI and ML, and this combination helps them to enable risk management, promotes analysis of clinical data, and allows for accurate decision-making in clinical settings with respect to viral disease diagnosis. Additionally, it can process huge amounts of data from healthcare resources such as hospitals, research laboratories, and clinical laboratories. It ensures the safe and appropriate transfer of healthcare data, thereby allowing professionals in the field of healthcare to share real-time information about viral outbreaks and thus enabling the development of effective management strategies. Tools driven by AI are extremely crucial for ensuring rapid viral disease screening, diagnosis, and treatment. These technologies are used in this field to promote research for developing personalized medicines and tailored diagnostic methods as well. This study emphasizes how the synergy of AI and blockchain leads to a paradigm shift and paves the way for the management of viral disease outbreaks by offering innovative solutions that can aid in improving patient outcomes and global healthcare management.

摘要
