Artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain have revolutionized healthcare in many aspects, such as precise diagnosis, tailored treatments, and streamlined data management. However, their adoption raises some profound ethical and legal questions, particularly around ensuring that marginalized groups like those with disabilities have equal access to the technologies. This chapter explores the possibilities for how such technologies might meet the health needs of people with disabilities while also implicating the challenges that may emerge. This chapter addresses the ethical-legal concerns about equity for individuals with different abilities through AI and blockchain. The research is meant to shed light on barriers to and opportunities for  equitably deploying these technologies. This study employs a doctrinal approach consisting of a literature review, case identifications, and policy papers to analyze current legal frameworks, policies, and ethical guidelines. The interview touches on issues such as AI algorithmic bias and the problem of consent and data ownership about blockchain. It also evaluates how combining AI and blockchain could force health empowerment and informed consent among patients. The findings indicate that such technologies benefit disabled people’s access to health promotion; these physical and ethical concerns of fairness and data protection need addressing. Enhancing existing laws is necessary to protect the rights of people with disabilities. Policies to equalize access to care must be driven by strong policies and careful design.
