The objective of this research was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature to identify major research trends and suggest possible directions for future studies on the human-centered pillar of Industry 5.0. A total of 448 articles were analyzed using bibliometric indicators. The results showed a growing interest in studies on Industry 5.0, particularly those involving human-centered approaches. Italian institutions and authors stand out in the number of publications. The thematic analysis revealed seven clusters that connect topics related to Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0, and human factors. Future research directions are diverse, focusing on the implementation of technologies in line with Industry 5.0 guidelines and improvements in ergonomic and safety issues.
