Hand injuries, particularly carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), constitute a significant portion of occupational pathologies, predominantly affecting women and individuals over 50 years old. Although orthotic products are an effective and accessible treatment, patient adherence is crucial to prevent invasive interventions. This study employs the Design Thinking methodology to design a CTS orthosis based on user perception, aiming to improve treatment adherence. Through surveys, in-depth interviews, and the use of 3D scanning and 3D printing, proposals were developed, and orthosis prototypes were generated. The results indicate that aesthetic considerations, comfort, and product perception are fundamental for the acceptance and use of orthoses, positively impacting patients’ health and quality of life.
