Multi-objective Optimization of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Remote Off-Grid Applications Using HOMER Pro
摘要
This research investigates the feasibility of hybrid renewable energy systems in Ahmedabad, India, utilizing HOMER Pro software. Through the analysis of many scenarios, our objective is to identify the most efficient arrangement of sustainable energy sources that can fulfill the energy requirements of the city, minimize the negative effects on the environment, and achieve the highest level of cost-efficiency. The research encompasses an extensive examination of existing literature on hybrid systems and the integration of renewable energy sources. This is followed by conducting simulations and analyzing data, taking into account various elements such as technology advancements, economic considerations, and environmental impacts. The existing energy profile of Ahmedabad, which includes factors such as energy demand, infrastructure, and environmental implications, establishes the background for research. The findings disclose the optimal hybrid system topologies, together with their financial ramifications and environmental advantages in comparison to conventional energy sources. The text explores several challenges, including technological constraints, regulatory obstacles, and socio-economic considerations. It also highlights potential prospects for expanding and duplicating efforts. The results highlight the importance of hybrid renewable energy systems in improving urban sustainability and provide vital knowledge for energy planning and policy-making in Ahmedabad and other metropolitan areas worldwide.
