In addition to the nationwide servants, the Qing Dynasty also categorized specific inferiors confined to certain regions. These included the Duomins, a degraded caste, Beggar Households, Nine-Clan Fishery Families, boat people, musician households, and tenant servant. Although geographically dispersed with distinct lifestyles, all shared the lowest social and legal status under the inferior estate system.
