The built environment, also known as Anthropocene,” comprises buildings, infrastructure, public spaces, transportation systems, and rural/urban landscapes. It is the physical surroundings that humans create, including past, present, and future plans. Incorporating design principles, construction practices, and sustainability principles is critical to developing practical, safe, and visually appealing spaces in the built environment. The life cycle of an asset in a built environment is made up of various stages that include urban planning, design, construction, and deconstruction, as stated by Peter Fewings (2009) and Crawford (2011). After deconstruction of the asset, the development life cycle can start again with urban planning. While the city's peripheral regions are being developed, the areas that were developed earlier are becoming the focus of the second phase of development. The man-made environment consumes land, water, and energy, and produces solid and liquid waste that necessitates management to maintain a clean environment. Excavation, mining, and quarrying are human activities that have had a significant impact on the landscape. The transformation of slopes and channels by excavation, cutting, and leveling produced indispensable local landforms for the development and movement of infrastructure.
