For the frequency domain electromagnetic method of grounding source form, our country’s electromagnetic workers have actively promoted the electromagnetic frequency sounding method of the former Soviet Union, using single-component apparent resistivity definition and full-field observation, pushing the observation area of the frequency domain artificial source electromagnetic method from the far zone to the middle zone. At the same time, Professor He Jishan of Central South University proposed the wide-area electromagnetic method (Jishan, Wide area electromagnetic method and pseudo random signal electric method.
