The trend of holding online examinations at scale has brought many serious challenges regarding security, transparency, and integrity of assessment systems into the spotlight. Traditional solutions do not offer proof tamper-free and scalable environments to conduct the exams. The proposed system employs a permissioned version of blockchain (Hyperledger Fabric) to record Examinations in a reliable, auditable (and immutable) manner. It uses React for the frontend and Spring Boot for the backend services with secure communication with JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and Spring Security. The exam materials and answers are stored in a distributed manner on IPFS and Pinata, and PostgreSQL is used to store the main relational database with exam metadata and results.
