Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have emerged as a critical technology for various applications, including environmental monitoring, industrial automation, and healthcare. However, the energy constraints of sensor nodes pose significant challenges to the longevity and efficiency of these networks. Clusterbased routing protocols have been widely studied as a means to enhance energy efficiency and extend network lifespan. Selection of cluster head is a big challenge in WSN to save energy of network. In this paper we conducted a comparative study on cluster head selection between LEACH protocol and our proposed method. We have overcome some drawback of LEACH protocol and we got good result. Our result shows proposed method gives more lifespan to WSN network than LEACH protocol.

摘要
