Integrating Blockchain into an Article Management System: Issuing ERC20 Cryptocurrency and NFT Tokenization
摘要
This study explores the incorporation of blockchain technology into an article management system by tokenizing articles as NFTs and issuing a proprietary cryptocurrency based on the ERC20 standard. The solution utilizes a Solidity-based smart contract to handle transactions in place of Stripe, the current payment gateway. Additionally, to enhance security and efficiency, the implementation leverages the Move programming language. Furthermore, it integrates the MetaMask wallet to enable decentralized transactions. To establish a robust digital ecosystem for article distribution and management, as well as to serve as a model for broader adoption in digital article platforms, the platform employs blockchain technology to ensure digital ownership, article monetization, and enhanced security for creators. A comparative analysis of Solidity and Move is included to highlight the potential benefits of transitioning between these technologies. Amid global regulatory advancements, particularly driven by cryptocurrency legalization efforts, this study presents a case study on integrating blockchain-based payments as an alternative to conventional financial systems (Smith, in The future of cryptocurrency regulation, 2025). The findings underscore the increasing potential of blockchain-based solutions in digital publishing, emphasizing enhanced security, financial autonomy, and article authenticity through smart contracts and NFTs.
