The Pinoy Tasker—Cleaning Service Marketplace Mobile Application is a cross-platform solution designed to address inefficiencies in the current landscape of cleaning service arrangements in the Philippines, which often rely on manual communication and informal agreements lacking transparency and reliability. By connecting task posters with professional cleaners, or taskers, the app streamlines the process of finding and booking cleaning services, ensuring convenience, trust, and accountability. Key features include real-time task posting, a secure payment gateway with escrow functionality, user reviews and ratings, and location-based task matching, all supported by a robust system architecture integrating a REST API backend and MySQL database for scalability and performance. Developed using Agile methodology with iterative user feedback, the app underwent usability testing and a System Usability Scale (SUS)-based survey, revealing high user satisfaction with its ease of use, security, and practicality. The Pinoy Tasker app demonstrates strong potential as a viable marketplace solution, fostering trust and convenience for both task posters and cleaners in the Philippines.
