The growing awareness of the environmental harm caused by conventional fossil fuel vehicles has spurred a steady yet rapid transition toward Electric Vehicles (EVs). While this shift allows manufacturers to integrate advanced technologies into their products, it also introduces new vulnerabilities that were absent in traditional automobile systems. This paper explores these vulnerabilities, which manifest as threats, attacks, and other security concerns, from a broad perspective. Additionally, it discusses strategies to mitigate these risks, such as enhanced authentication protocols, optimized data and message encryption, and continuous technological updates to counter evolving attacker methodologies. This paper also looks ahead to the future, where emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) still in their infancy could help address challenges currently perceived as insurmountable. By synthesizing existing research in the Electrical Vehicle (EV) sector and cybersecurity, this paper aims to propose a generalized framework for cyber-physical systems, addressing both the static and dynamic operations of Electric Vehicles and EV charging stations.

摘要
