In recent years, the rapid development of virtual reality (VR) technology has shown broad application prospects in multiple fields. Especially in the field of virtual exhibition hall design, the potential and value of VR technology are increasingly prominent, bringing revolutionary changes to traditional exhibition hall design. This study explores the important roles of interactivity, artistry, and technicality in virtual exhibition halls through the design practice of the weaving gold-colored porcelain virtual exhibition halls. In addition, research has found that VR technology provides strong technical support and innovative ideas for the generation and design of digital exhibition halls for woven gold-colored porcelain. By deeply exploring the connotation and value of traditional culture, combined with modern technological means for display and dissemination, virtual exhibition halls can bring visitors a richer and deeper cultural experience, and inject new vitality and momentum into the inheritance and development of traditional culture. Finally, based on this study, optimization strategies for VR empowering virtual exhibition hall design practices were proposed, including in-depth exploration of cultural connotations, optimization of scene design, enhancement of interactive experience, and strengthening of technological updates and training.
