In today’s built environments, enhancing user engagement through interactive digital experiences is becoming increasingly important. However, many of these experiences prioritize visual appeal over meaningful integration with architectural design, often neglecting the space and the users they are meant to engage. This leads to disconnected experiences that fail to establish deep interactions with the space and its users. Our research addresses these issues by drawing key parameters for designing interactive digital experiences in the built environment by focusing on the interaction between architectural space, digital content, and users. Through a comprehensive review of representative case studies, the importance of considering the unique characteristics of both the space and its users during the design process has been identified. This study offers practical insights for architects and designers aiming to create innovative digital experiences and lays the groundwork for integrating digital and physical elements in spatial design.

摘要
