Organizations and individuals worldwide struggled to adapt to evolving work habits. The study examines the potential consequences of the digital revolution, which is accelerating even after COVID-19. Work-from-home (WFH) policies were adopted by corporations and educational institutions due to a variety of circumstances, including greater digitization. Since then, blockchain technology has grown in significance. The gig economy and the number of gig workers are since then expanding, resulting in factors including work overload, collaboration, motivation, and employment distribution. Issues with workplace surveillance and technostress became more noticeable as digital presence increased. Both cybercrime and attempts to prevent it have increased. Internet use is a critical resource in a disaster, so it is necessary to manage it. The study will examine the causes and effects of the digital divide. It will also discuss the issues of zero-rating schemes and net neutrality. It will analyse the effects and consequences of internet shutdowns, which are frequently utilized by countries. The study will concentrate on the use, impact, and acceptance of digital currency during emergencies. It will study concerns about privacy and tracking are becoming more pressing as internet usage rises.
