This study investigates the application of onchain pagerank as a predictive metric for post-airdrop transaction revenue, specifically focusing on the first airdrops for Ethereum Layer 2 networks Arbitrum and Optimism. The analysis shows that Arbitrum addresses ranked higher by pagerank generated significantly more transaction revenue post-airdrop than the addresses that claimed the airdrop. We observe similar trends in the Optimism airdrop. These results suggest that pagerank provides a transparent, reproducible, scalable, cost-efficient, and credibly neutral method for targeting high-value users.

摘要
