Fault Detection and Predictive Maintenance in Cyber Physical Systems

This chapter explores data-driven fault detection and predictive maintenance techniques in the context of cyber physical systems (CPS). We present the development history of fault detection and predictive maintenance technologies in CPS, and provide a detailed overview of the emergence and significance of data-driven approaches. In addition, we present application background and case studies that demonstrate the practical application and effectiveness of data-driven techniques in fault detection and predictive maintenance within the CPS fields.
