Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) connected to the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) have opened up new possibilities for monitoring and automation in many different types of industrial applications. However, ensuring secure wireless communication between UAVs and IoT devices remains a critical challenge. Newly developed reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) show great promise as a tool to improve the efficiency of communication. The security performance of UAV wireless communication with RIS assistance in industrial IoT contexts is thoroughly examined in this research study. The study focuses on assessing key security metrics, analyzing potential vulnerabilities, and proposing security-enhancing techniques to validate the findings.
