The present work deals with the development of a IoT face recognition artificial intelligence-enabled robot that can recognize faces with good accuracy by generating a facial landmark encoding of the inputted image and leveraging the autonomous data collection, sensor adaptabilities and connectivity of IoT systems. This finds application in a wide range of domains including surveillance and security systems, biometrics and attendance systems and errand-bots.
