While talking about the social evils, domestic violence is the biggest social evil now a days and the main victims for domestic violence are the women. The impact of domestic violence not only lasts making worst physical conditions of woman but also make a deep impact on the psychological and mental health of that woman who is victim of domestic violence. Hence, innovative approaches are needed to do prevention and intervention to safeguard the victims and stop the incidents of domestic violence. This article explores the integration of the machine learning in the cases related to domestic violence. The study examines the different algorithms of machine learning like support vector machine algorithm which can be used in domestic violence incidents. This study also reviews the proposed models of machine learning which are used by different authors in their articles to safeguard the victims of domestic violence. This article explores the benefits as well as drawbacks of using machine learning in domestic violence incidents.
