Natural resources play a vital role in our lives but connect to conflict. This précis considers the neo-Malthusian–Cornucopian dichotomy to explore the connections between resources, conflict, and the environmental impacts of war. The précis submits that both the neo-Malthusian and Cornucopian perspectives hold valid insights: by combining their strengths with eclectic environmentalism, we can promote peace through balanced resource management and responsible growth.
