The current chapter is the overview of the kinetics and modeling of biodesulfurization process, which covers bioprocess kinetic of sulfur removal from coal. The effects of various parameters such as temperature ranges, pH, and incubation time on coal biodesulfurization have been studied. As far as biodesulfurization of coal was concerned, it totally depends upon microbial growth. Such growth rate was measured through different models; on behalf of growth kinetics, different models were studied.
