Dizziness, nausea, and excessive sweating for 1 year; right adrenal mass found during physical examination 3 months ago: Male, 58 years old. One year ago, he occasionally experienced dizziness, nausea, and excessive sweating. When the symptoms occurred, his blood pressure was 110/80 mmHg, with no palpitations or headaches, and the symptoms eased after rest. In July 2022, the patient came to our hospital for a physical examination. CT examination showed a 1.6 cm × 1.0 cm mass in the right adrenal gland. For further diagnosis and treatment, he visited our department. CTU showed a soft tissue density nodule in the junction of the right adrenal gland, about 1.6 cm × 1.3 cm in size, plain CT value 31 HU, and obvious enhancement after enhancement (Figs. 1 and 2). Complete endocrine-related tests, NMN 0.46 nmol/L and MN 0.14 nmol/L, and 24 h urinary catecholamines, NE 72.3 μg/24 h, E5.8 μg/24 h, and DA 275.8 μg/24 h. No obvious abnormalities were seen in the octreotide imaging. The diagnosis considered “right adrenal tumor,” and phenoxybenzamine 10 mg po tid was given for medication preparation. The patient has been regularly preparing medication for more than 1 month and was admitted to the hospital for surgery with the diagnosis of “right adrenal tumor.”
