Pharmacological Treatment of Status Epilepticus
摘要
Epileptic status is a common critical condition seen with neurological diseases, and except for cases of accidental death, many of the deaths of patients with epilepsy are caused by epileptic status. Although the understanding of epileptic status has changed over time, the latest understanding of epileptic status is based on the International League against Epilepsy 2015 consensus on epileptic status. According to the International League against Epilepsy provisions, generalized epileptic status means that the disorder of consciousness does not return to normal between two seizures or that a seizure lasts more than 5 minutes (absence seizures last more than 15 minutes). A focal seizure with consciousness impairment lasting more than 10 minutes can also be diagnosed as epileptic status. The duration of focal seizures with unconscious injury is still being investigated [1, 2].
