Modern cars are equipped with automotive telematics, which helps them connect to their environment using radio access technologies and share information. There is a requirement for Internet of Vehicles (IoV) and Vehicular AdHoc Networks (VANETs) for intelligent and efficient transportation. Real-time and long-term information processing are both included in vehicular communication. With an emphasis on the incorporation of IoV and big data in self-driving cars, this study explores the opportunities for collaboration between IoV and big data in the automotive industry.
