This study aimed to comprehensively review factors influencing the adoption of digital banking by conducting a systematic literature review focused on research utilising the UTAUT theoretical model. A predefined protocol governed the search strategy, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and quality assessment standards. Two digital libraries were explored, yielding 591 initially identified papers. After a stringent review process based on predefined criteria, 59 papers were selected for data extraction. The analysis categorised the chosen papers based on frequently observed factors, publication year, research location, and methodologies employed. Noteworthy findings include a predominant use (80%) of questionnaire surveys, Tamil Nadu emerging as the most prolific state in this research domain, and “perceived usefulness” and “satisfaction” being commonly cited factors extending the UTAUT model for digital banking adoption studies. Furthermore, the review highlighted 2020 as the year with the largest number of publications. This study thoroughly summarises current research on digital banking adoption utilizing the UTAUT framework, offering valuable insights and a foundation for future investigations. Subsequent reviews could expand the scope by including additional attributes such as databases, types of factors, and research goals.

摘要
