Vibration Response of Different Anatomy Layers of Human Subject
摘要
Traffic congestion has been increasing in today’s life due to the population growth, transportation, etc. Traveling from one location to another through different vehicles by public transport, personal vehicles, airways, metro rail, railways, etc. where humans encounter a vibration from the various segments of the body causes discomfort and some health-related issues, such as low back pain, spinal injury, numbness and nerves damage. In present research, a 5-layered human anatomical CAD model, i.e., bone, organs, nerves, muscles and skin was developed with the consideration of the male Indian human anthropometric dimensions belonging to 95th percentile, to calculate the transmissibility effect from seat to head (STHT) and feet to head (FTHT) and with the base excitation of 0.5 ms−2 acceleration rms value under 0.3 damping condition at a specific range of frequency between 0 and 20 Hz. From the result, it was observed that the maximum transmissibility was at 4–6 Hz due to the low frequency vibration in the whole body, and the study results were validated with the existing literature.
