As in Chapter 12 , this project is also a part of a larger study in on parental involvement (K-grade 6). In this chapter, data analyses were for grade three and grade four, and, only on outdoor activities. The aim was to empower parents by involving them in the preparation, parents provided children’s interests while the teacher educator shared children’s learned math content. Parents formed groups to pose problems and did peer review. In the preparation and analyses of children’s work, parents were aware of the math materials children learned over the two years (number, measurements, space), possible matches to objects (staircase, jump plane), and, possible children’s learning outcomes. The events provided invaluable learning opportunities to all involved participants; children appreciated time and effort of their parents.
